Today in class we read a book from Scholastic called Pierre the Penguin. At the end of this true story was a website where you could watch a live webcam from the California Academy of Sciences. This afternoon we watched the webcam and the students loved it!!!! (Especially the underwater webcam) I have typed the web address below if you would like to get additional information about this cool facility or watch the webcams with your family.

We did it again!!! Our class won the January Papa John’s Night and will be treated to another pizza party for lunch. The date of the pizza party will be announced soon!  =)

Please help me welcome our newest friend Daniel to our class!!! Daniel comes from Maine and is a welcome new addition!!!!  =0)

We won the Box Top collection for Nov/Dec. Three classes were chosen with the highest amount of Box Tops collected and we were one of the three. Our class will have an ice cream party on Friday after lunch. Great job….keep collecting!!!

Students will be having an ice cream sundae party on Friday, December 16th along with our holiday book exchange. Please bring all items as soon as possible. Thank you to all of our classroom volunteers that will be attending that day.

December 16^th- Class ice cream holiday party and book exchange

Collections:

Humane Society needs towels, blankets, newspapers, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and dog/cat treats, toys or food

Book Drive for West Hollywood Elementary School. Please bring new or gently used elementary level books to give with our partner school

   Our class won the Papa John’s Pizza contest and we will be having a cheese pizza party next week!!! Information will be coming home on Thursday. Congratulations everyone! And thank you to those of you who order Papa John’s pizza last month.
